The Best of Ogden: Paddleboarding at Causey Reservoir
with NRS
Need to escape the summer heat? Causey Reservoir is a mountain oasis a short drive away from downtown Ogden.
Because this reservoir restricts motorized boats, Causey is a perfect destination for a day of paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, or cliff jumping. Watch the video below to see for yourself!
Causey Reservoir is a popular swimming, paddling, and fishing location about 45 minutes from the GEAR:30 store in downtown Ogden. Although crowds and parking can get busy on summer weekends, Causey usually offers peaceful solitude to those willing to paddle or hike to the back channels of the reservoir.
